Meet Vena & Ryan. Our AI-generated voices for River
On September 18th, I celebrated my 4th anniversary of working at Skraves. Four years in, I continue to be humbled by the opportunity ahead, and feel honored to have worked with many inspiring colleagues, partners, and customers. As I reflect upon my journey, here are eight reflections I hope some of you might find useful:

  1. Stay focused. Whatever you decide to do, do one thing at a time, and do it with passion, care, and conviction. If something is worth doing, it's worth your undivided attention.
  2. Prioritize productivity over perfection. Focus on maximizing output and consistently deliver at a standard you're proud of.
  3. Nurture your physical and mental energy - not only to be more effective, but more importantly for how you experience your work. Be mindful of your sleep, diet, and health; and don't let external factors define your self-worth. Be kind to yourself.
  4. Be in charge of your time. Create space for inspiration, learning, and thinking. The biggest ideas rarely come from being in back-to-back meetings or execution mode all the time. Relax and recharge.
  5. Allow yourself to say 'I don't know'. Understand that no one has all the answers. It takes self-awareness, courage, and strength to know when to lead and admit when to follow. Embrace your vulnerability.
  6. Build meaningful relationships and treat everyone with respect. Own your story and actively listen to other's. Use your voice, connections, allies, and build bridges to support those in need. It's about belonging, not fitting in.
  7. Communicate thoughtfully. Choose your words and tone with care, and bring people along. You are responsible not only for your intentions, but also the perception and impact.
  8. Stay grounded. Remember the  purpose and hunger you showed on day one, and strive to make your company even better. There will be ups - celebrate them. There will be downs - take it on the chin.

In the end, always remember: there's no final destination- the journey is the DESTINATION.
